When to Sow

  • Sow Mar–Apr indoors, transplant May–Jun.

How to Grow

  • Space 60cm apart in firm soil.
  • Stake tall plants if exposed.
  • Remove yellowing leaves to aid airflow.

Harvesting

  • Harvest sprouts from Nov–Feb.
  • Pick from the bottom up as they mature.

  • Not usually grown full-season under cover (needs space), but young plants get a better start.
