When to Sow

  • Direct sow Mar–Jul outdoors or earlier in a tunnel.
  • Sow successionally for continuous harvest.

How to Grow

  • Sow 2–3 seeds every 10cm in rows 30cm apart.
  • Thin seedlings to one strong plant per station.
  • Water regularly to avoid woody roots.

Harvesting

  • Harvest when roots are golf ball to tennis ball sized.
  • Leaves can be picked young for salad use.
