  • Sow Apr–May indoors.
  • Transplant Jun outdoors or into tunnels.

How to Grow

  • Water well in dry spells.
  • Feed with high-nitrogen fertiliser.

Harvesting

  • Harvest Aug–Sep.
  • Kernels ready when they release milky juice when pressed.
