Timber battens are used for securing polythene to timber base rails, timber side rails and timber door frames.
All our timber is sourced from sustainable sources and treated with ‘Tanalith E’ (Tanalith E is a chrome and arsenic free preservative).
38mm x 19mm battens are used with 75mm x 40mm (3′ x 1 5/8″) timber rails and uprights and also for timber doors
50mm x 12mm battens are used with 100mm x 47mm (4″ x 2″) rails and 75mm (3″ x 3″) uprights and door casings.
