Screw Anchors + Base Rails

Screw Anchors are by far our most popular option for their ease and simplicity. They can be used in two ways:

Simply screw into the ground

Suitable for most soil types, especially clay. Avoid only on ground with a high stone content or loose soil which has been recently disturbed.

Concrete in the screw anchors

For additional strength and security you can also concrete in the screw anchors, the additional strength is only necessary in particularly exposed locations. The foundations are installed by digging a hole around 35cm wide and 35cm deep which is then filled with concrete. The corkscrew at the bottom of the foundation tube anchors the ground tube into the concrete.

Our side ventilation panel gives your EasyBuild Polytunnel even better ventilation, helping you to create the best possible growing environment.

As part of our re-engineered ventilation panel we also incorporated draught exclusion panels at each end of the vent to ensure draughts are kept to a minimum to help maintain higher temperatures during the colder months when your side curtain is closed.

Diffused Polythene

This UV-open film allows up to 89% light transmission with approximately 95% diffusion. The diffused light penetrates deep into the plant canopy, reducing shading and promoting uniform growth. Ideal for regions with intense sunlight.

Clear Polythene

Allowing up to 92% light transmission with less than 35% diffusion, this clear film is beneficial during the early and later months of the growing season. The increased light and heat can lead to earlier harvesting and extended post-harvest shelf life.

This acts as an insulation between the metal and the polythene to prevent the build up of damaging hot spots and prolong the cover life of your polythene sheet

No. Ridge Bars*

Two ridge bars come as standard with your polytunnel, ensuring strength, rigidity and convenient crop and hanging supports.

Positioned at the sides of the polytunnel and running down the length the ridge bars provides stability to the structure and can also be a good place for hanging baskets or crop support.

Our ridge tubes are 25mm diameter and come as standard with your Polytunnel.

Ground Cover

Ground Cover

Heavy duty weed suppressant membrane.

With less than 5% light transmission, ground cover is an effective weed control fabric. Manufactured from black polypropylene (100gsm) with 25cm x 25cm green grid lines for accurate plant spacing.

Optimum water permeability (15ltr/m2/second). Ideal for above-ground or below-ground applications.

Can be fixed to the ground with staples or pegs.

Crop Bars

Crop bars, often referred to as brace bars, run across the width of the tunnel and provide additional strength to the structure and an excellent crop support.

We use 25mm bars to provide additional strength to the frame, as well as suitable support for hanging baskets and containers. Crop Bars can be retrofitted if your polytunnel is already built and in use.

Overhead

The Overhead Sprinkler Kit is fastened to the central ridge of your polytunnel with individual sprinklers suspended on 30cm drop tubes. The sprinklers imitate rainfall gently watering the whole area inside your polytunnel tunnel. Supplied with commercial sprinklers, all the necessary fittings and a hose connector. This central, single sprayline will cover the full width of your EasyBuild polytunnel. Can be operated with a water timer. Supplied with all the necessary fittings, drippers and a hose connector.

Dripline

The ideal low-level watering systems which places the water where it is required, without wetting foliage/flowers or soaking the pathway. Supplied with all the necessary fittings, drippers and a hose connector. The kits are supplied with enough pipe and fittings for both sides of your EasyBuild polytunnel. 16mm OD (1/2” ID) commercial drip-line, with pressure compensating emitters positioned every 30cm (12”) along the pipe to ensure even irrigation along the lines. Three runs per side. Supplied with plain 16mm OD black header pipe for the manifold. Hose connector and all fittings included.

Pot Drip

Our micro dripper kit is an ideal solution for watering pots, containers, grow-bags etc, without watering the spaces between them. Each pot has a dedicated dripper fitted to a flexible 80cm (32”) micro tube. Designed for domestic applications. Larger containers may require 2 drippers, whereas grow-bags may require 3-4 drippers. The kit contains irrigation pipe, assorted fixtures & fittings (including tap connection) as well as micro drippers. The kits are supplied with enough pipe and fittings for both sides of the Polytunnel, contents of the kit varies based on the size of your EasyBuild polytunnel.
